Pages end up upside down or sideways when a document is scanned in the wrong orientation, or when pages from different sources are combined. Reading a sideways PDF is awkward, and printing it will print it sideways too. Rotating fixes the orientation once, so every reader and printer sees the pages the right way up.
Check the rotation on the first page before you download the whole file, especially if only some pages are wrong. If only a few pages need rotating, it may be simpler to split those pages out, rotate them, and then merge the document again in the correct order.
Privacy: this tool runs entirely in your browser — no upload, no signup, and your files never leave your device.
Straighten upside-down or sideways scanned pages — rotate by 90°, 180° or 270°, all pages or just a few.

Frequently asked questions
How do I rotate a PDF that is upside down?
Choose the PDF, pick 180 degrees, and download the result. All pages will be turned the right way up, and the text and images on them will stay unchanged apart from the rotation.
Can I rotate only some pages of a PDF?
This tool rotates the pages you apply it to in the file you choose. For a document where only some pages are wrong, split out those pages, rotate them, and merge the document again in order.
Does rotating a PDF change its text or images?
No, apart from turning them. The content of each page stays the same, only its orientation changes, so text remains selectable and images remain as they were.
Is my PDF uploaded when I rotate it?
No. Rotation happens in your browser only. The file never leaves your device, and nothing is saved after you close the page.
