Case mistakes happen when text is copied from another source, typed with caps lock on, or pasted from a spreadsheet. Fixing case by hand in a long document is tedious and error-prone. This tool changes the whole text at once, which is useful for headings, titles, lists and any text that needs a consistent style. It does not change the words themselves, only their capitalisation.
Check proper nouns after converting to Title Case or Sentence case, because the tool cannot know which words are names. A name that should stay capitalised may be lowered, and an abbreviation may be changed, so a quick read-through after converting is worth doing.
Privacy: this tool runs entirely in your browser — no upload, no signup, and your files never leave your device.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?
Title Case capitalises most words in a heading, such as 'How to Write a Good Title'. Sentence case capitalises only the first word and proper nouns, such as 'How to write a good title'. Use Title Case for headings and Sentence case for ordinary sentences.
Will Case Converter change abbreviations like UK or NASA?
Converting to lower case will lower them, and converting to Title Case may change their internal capitalisation. Check abbreviations and proper nouns after converting, and fix any that should keep their original form.
Can I convert only part of a text?
This tool converts the whole text you paste in. If you only want part of it changed, paste just that part, convert it, and copy it back into your document.
Is my text uploaded when I convert its case?
No. The conversion runs in your browser only. Nothing is sent to a server and nothing is saved after you close the page.
