Does it replace part of a word?
It replaces the exact text you type wherever it appears, including inside longer words — so finding 'cat' would also change 'category'. If that is a risk, include spaces or more of the word in your search text.
Can I delete a word everywhere?
Yes — leave the replacement box empty and every occurrence of the found text is removed. Useful for clearing a repeated filler word or a leftover tag from copied text.
